Meredith Ann Hart
A teacher and healer at heart, Meredith began her studies in yoga and herbalism at the age of 16. Her upbringing in a Spiritually-oriented household dedicated to the demonstration of healing through Natural and Spiritual Law pointed her easily towards these two subjects of interest. Words like “infinity”, “love”, “life” “truth”, “principle” and “Spirit” were amongst her favorite words as a young child.
Around the age of 20, she discovered the existence of the deeper teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda, and was struck by how it all fit together so seamlessly. She knew very clearly back then what her purpose was: to teach others how to heal themselves. Of course, she also knew that she needed to also learn from her direct experiences of self-healing, for which she has many stories. It hasn’t always been easy for her, but each trial and tribulation continues to point Meredith back to what is important, what is vital, what nourishes her body, mind, heart, and Spirit. She has navigated the path of healing time and time again and knows the signposts along the journey very well. Her goal is to walk along side her students and clients, teaching and offering ways that bring them home to themselves and their innate healing intelligence.
Meredith is a dedicated teacher and therapist of Yoga, practitioner of Ayurveda, and a Somatic bodyworker and educator with thousands of hours of experience and training. She offers highly individualized programs of care which include consults, lessons, therapies, treatments, group courses, and retreats. Meredith’s direct experiences (both personal and professional) in the art of Being, healing, and transformation allow her to easily offer tools and practices that foster aliveness. You’ll find that her approach is accessible, simple, gentle, and light-hearted offering integration to those who seek change while living in the modern world.
She continues to study and learn, adding to an extensive list of advanced trainings, certifications, and degrees in consciousness, embodiment, and holistic medicine. Meredith is a full-time faculty member at Maharishi International University and is concurrently working towards her PhD in Maharishi Vedic Sciences. Her private practice is in the San Francisco Bay Area and online. She enjoys living in Marin County with her loving husband Michael, and family.
